Why ownership matters
Who owns compute
helps shape the future.
Computing power is becoming a foundation of economic and creative power. Who owns it matters for who can build, who can compete, and who gets a say in the future of intelligence.
We want students, independent researchers, local businesses, and new companies to have a real stake in that future. The ability to create with AI should not depend entirely on access rented from a handful of technology giants.
For us, bringing existing owners into the network is only the beginning. We want Acorn to help more people become owners in the first place. If earnings can help someone afford a computer they otherwise couldn’t buy, they gain more than a device. They gain computing power of their own and a foundation for running their own intelligence.
The ambition is simple: more people owning the tools that give them power.
